Het testen
* Contact onderhouden met het relevante personeel op de bouwplaats om de status van de lift te controleren. Berichten op de lift aanbrengen en overleggen met de overige personen die betrokken kunnen zijn.
* Zorgt ervoor dat de lift uit elektrisch oogpunt veilig is.
* Stelt de lift in bedrijf volgens de parameters die zijn afgesproken in de specificatie.
* Test de lift volgens het relevante testdocument en de standaardinterpretatie binnen KONE van EN81, Lift Directive and/or Design (Essential Health & Safety Requirements compliance) (Richtlijn en/of ontwerp van liften (naleving van de essentiele vereisten op het gebied van gezondheid en veiligheid)).
* Voert metingen uit en voltooit de noodzakelijke documentatie.
* Legt afwijkingen vast voor corrigerende actie of voor opname in H&RA voor de lift/bouwplaats.
* Voert de definitieve inspectie uit en ondertekent het definitieve inspectiedocument.
* De tester doet melding van de conditie van de lift aan de Installation Supervisor, die verantwoordelijk is voor alle activiteiten op de bouwplaats. De tester geeft een lijst met potentiele problemen aan de monteur en een kopie hiervan aan de Installation Supervisor. De tester mag geen andere melding naar buiten doen zonder toestemming van de leidinggevende.
* Neemt deel aan vergaderingen en werkgroepen die verband houden met kwaliteit en technische problemen.
* Is verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid van de liftschacht (veilig voor andere monteurs en het publiek, enz.) en de veiligheid van alle personen die betrokken zijn bij de installatieactiviteiten tijdens de in gebruik stelling en het testen van de lift (of de roltrap).
