The Accountant will be responsible in implementing means, materials and human
manpower in order to produce on time, all accounting documents and tax report
for the external authorities and the internal departments. He will organize
the accounting information flows in a constant concern of reliability and
speed.
Responsibilities:
* Establishes system controls for financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems
* Support and manage the preparation of Company groups accounts strategy for all aspects and function including: accounting, financial planning, cost and cash management under the guidance of the Finance Director
* In charge of all duties related to accounting and tax of the company.
* Coordinates the production of the whole financial statements in respect of time limits: balance Sheet, P&L, Annexes, Tax report, Local Declaration.
* Ensures the maintenance of an internal control in the accounting process and payments of invoices
* Ensures accuracy, time limit and reliability as well as the data format of the monthly closing. Works closely with the Finance Controller in order to update the ERP (MIS).
* Monitors the accounting of the payroll
* Audits and controls
* Ensure that the collections from retail chains are deposited into bank and remittance to Head Office are carried out as per time schedule
* Assure that financial and internal controls are in place and functioning, which will provide assurances that financial records are accurate and reliable
* Coordinates with the Group for all accounting format to be reported.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
* Minimum 5 years of experience in retail sector (Supermarket / Hypermarket) required in the same position
* Solid experience in ERP (MIS), POS systems
* Very good communication skills
* Reliable in both reporting and deadline, organized and structured for mass data and huge volume of documents.
