Context

Planned to be the world 's largest floating industrial complex ,the Neom
Industrial City will be a 7km-wide floating city that will be home to the
world's 'first fully automated port and integrated logistics hub'.
We are currently looking for a Potable Water Distribution Engineer (Design)
who will be responsible for design and technical delivery of the Water Supply
System. His/her role will involve designing the water supply system while
coordinating the design requirements provided by the Senior Engineer with his
and others' inputs including internal discipline Engineers, Draftsmen and
CAD/GIS team members. This includes interfacing with the other Discipline
Managers/Leads and the Senior Engineers in other disciplines.

Main duties

The Potable Water Distribution Engineer, working closely under the Senior
Engineer 's direction and supervision, is responsible to provide key input to
the design of the Water Supply System from a technical and quality perspective
to ensure it is a success. He/she is also responsible for maintaining
technical standards, compliance with the relative EHS and quality plans and
procedures, internal design coordination as well as providing effective
management and guidance to the technical delivery of his/her internal project
team including GIS/CAD Draftsmen.
The Potable Water Distribution Engineer will apply all design management
systems and documents set up by the Engineering Manager, and ensure technical
staff supporting him/her in his Design Tasks are engaged and managed so that
the can deliver successfully to the design in line with their roles and
responsibilities assigned by the Engineering Manager. Also, that well defined
and reporting lines and communications are adhered to as established within
the Water Supply Design Team. He/she will be responsible for participating in
the successful delivery of the assigned Water Supply System from concept
design to final implementation including quality, time, cost and technical
alignment with client sectors and procedures.

Degrees

Bachelor degree in Civil engineering

Other degrees

Technical skills

• Must have BSc, BEng or equivalent with at least ‎10 years design experience


• Excellent working knowledge of the design procedures for major wet utilities projects and knowledge of Saudi authorities codes and regulations will be preferred


• Well versed in water networks modeling


• Experienced in Water Demand analysis


• Experienced in SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS software applications

Personal qualities

• Have an aptitude to multi-task and be self starting in new business environments


• Candidates based in KSA will be preferred


• Highly experienced and widely credible for technical knowledge, expertise and guidance


• Excellent communication skills
