Job Description:
* Ensure all purchasing activities follow Airbus Ethics and Compliance process
* Search & Invites suppliers to receive quotations along with price and lead times. Support in negotiations with local suppliers.
* Receive, process & record Materials Requests (MR) for materials & services from multiple departments, record them in dedicated Order Log Book for tracking purposes (Excel).
* Provide administrative support in maintaining detailed accurate records of purchases, including quantities, shipping info & costs.
* Responsible for creating Purchase Orders in SAP system, and get approval from the purchasing manager or team leader according to assigned threshold.
* Follow up with vendors to ensure all materials arrive on time, cost & quality.
* Schedule incoming & outgoing shipments for delivery & returns, also report damaged goods.
* Logistics coordination for imports/exports between supplier & the operative base in Al Kharj.
* Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting
* Identify and report any possible risk during supply chain process and provide suggestion as mitigation action.
* Participate in vendor relationship management, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Weekly visit to Prince Sultan Air Base Al Kharj.
