Role Purpose:
JLL is the recognized market leader in respect of real estate research in the
MENA region. The Research team plays a critical role in supporting the overall
business in ‎2 primary areas.
Providing data and market intelligence about the real estate, economic and
regulatory environment to both JLL staff and clients of the firm.
Supporting business development and marketing objectives of the firm through
the production of regular market reports and thought leadership publications
and media releases.

What this job involves:
We are currently seeking to recruit a senior research professional at the
manager or associate level to act as the deputy to the current Head of
Department.
This individual will provide technical leadership in the development and
implementation of the firm’s research database and contribute to and expand
our current thought leadership program.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of the Department in the day to day supervision of the
Research team.

Assume primary responsibility for collection and analysis of data on KSA real
estate market.

Become the ‘go to’ person for external and internal enquiries in respect of
KSA real estate market.

Responsible for delivery of agreed ‘thought leadership’ program of reports on
KSA and broader MENA real estate markets.

Promote external awareness of JLL with clients and media through writing
reports, articles and conference presentations in support of the firm’s
business development objectives.

Oversight and quality control of quarterly reports on regional markets
(Jeddah, Riyadh, Mecca and Medina).

Contribute MENA sections for JLL regional and global publications.

Support existing data manager to extend and enhance databases currently used
to collect information on the real estate markets and ensure that this
information is updated in a regular and consistent manner.

Management of interns in Riyadh office

Undertake specific research in support of client assignments

Experience:
‎5 - ‎8 years relevant work experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree as a minimum – Economics, Finance or Social Science.

Masters’ qualification in Real Estate preferred.
