Performs technical and managerial laboratory duties as well as basic data
analysis in support of a research project and part of a scientific team and
trains students.
1.Conducts tests and experiments and data collection to support research
activities.
2.Carries out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies
according to established protocols and procedures.
3.Performs data analysis using software programs.
4.Operates and maintains laboratory instruments.
5.Maintains experimental data and laboratory reports/procedures.
6.Orders and maintains sufficient laboratory supplies and materials as well as
keeps general tidiness and laboratory cleanliness.
7.Trains students and trainees in basic laboratory techniques.
8.Follows all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
9.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
10.Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as
applicable.
11.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor of Science (BSc) or an Associate Degree from an accredited
institution in a scientific discipline relevant to the research field is
required.
Two (2) year of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree or
four (4) years with an Associate Degree required.
