What you 'll d o
The Customer Experience Renewal Manager (RM) role is a highly visible,
strategic position to empower key customers to continue to transform their
business and meet their objectives through Cisco solutions.


You will be accountable for owning and carrying out a portfolio of renewal
contracts of Cisco products and services across an assigned portfolio of
customer accounts/territory. The RM works with customer executives, partners
and across Cisco teams to develop a comprehensive, deep view of customer
requirements and objectives and define a strategy to drive renewals to on-time
closure, as well as minimize renewals risk and financial attrition. You will
bring strong knowledge of negotiation strategies and orchestrates cross-
functional resources across the company and with partners to provide a unified
path to secure every renewal.


Key responsibilities and activities include:



  • Assumes responsibility for renewing end customer agreements for Cisco's recurring offer portfolio including software subscriptions and support services while maximizing retention and expansion of annual recurring revenue.

  • Leads the end customer renewals sales process and engagement in collaboration with the Cisco and (where applicable) channel partner account team from opportunity identification to close.

  • Validates the customer installed base, contractual model, purchasing structure and channels and adoption status by leveraging account manager and customer success team knowledge, renewal specialist capabilities, supporting functions and data insights available to evaluate resulting renewal strategies and risks.

  • Leverages Renewal Plays to support revenue retention, offer migration, contract co-termination/consolidation and development of expansions opportunities for joint pursuit with account manager, specialist sales teams and channel partner.

  • Develops the renewal strategy, accompanying value and commercial proposition based on the customer's specific T-Minus renewal timeline.

  • Owns the management and forecasting of Renewals opportunities and any related attrition, advising the account team in the overall negotiation to ensure integrity of the renewal portion of any (larger) agreement.

  • Works with end customer decision makers and all parties involved to ensure an on-time renewal is supported by timely commercial and contractual agreement, quote availability and ordering arrangements.

fastest growing teams that delivers profitable growth throughout the customer
lifecycle with a series of selling motions to drive higher value and an
optimal experience from Cisco solutions.

  • Ability to make strong relationships, foster collaboration and teamwork

  • Strong understanding of subscription and renewals business practices, including customer and partner procurement processes

  • Desire to expand knowledge, grow and develop


Required experience:



  • ‎5+ years of experience in the IT industry or equivalent industries, preferably from subscriptions and renewals sales

  • Experience with subscription and software offers, negotiating contracts

  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Fluent in English and Arabic

  • Education: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred

projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada
locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring
ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual
bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive
compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring
location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset,
experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants
may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision
insurance, a ‎401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-
term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing
offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year,
which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday.
Employees accrue up to ‎20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have
access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without
tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give
back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock
through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their
base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-
based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of ‎1% of incentive target
for each ‎1% revenue attainment against the quota up to ‎100%. Once performance
exceeds ‎100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times
the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based
sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay
up to ‎125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of
performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
