Role Purpose
Jobholder is responsible for establishing or identifying prices of goods,
services or admissions, and tabulates bills using calculators, cash registers,
or optical price scanners.
Key Responsibilities
Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
Assists customers by providing information and resolving their complaints
Establishes or identifies prices of goods, services or admissions, and
tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners
Greets customers entering establishments
Answers customers' questions, and provides information on procedures or
policies
Sells items to customers
Processes merchandise returns and exchanges
Stocks shelves, and marks prices on shelves and items
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
Minimum Qualifications
Work Experience
Knowledge
Thorough knowledge of banking operations processing
Thorough knowledge of technical aspects of accounting analysis
Thorough knowledge of professional accounting principles and procedures
Skills
Arithmetic, Algebra and Statistics
Computer Literate
Maintain Interpersonal relationships with employees and customers
Language & communication skills
English – basic level required in speaking, reading and writing
Arabic desirable
