Client Partner & Business Development Consultant

Purpose of Role

our clients. As a Client Partner & Business Development Consultant, you will
be the person who sits side-by-side our clients and prospects and brings this
value to them.


You'll need to be service and relationship minded as we know that a good
client relationship, built on consistency, humility and value, is our biggest
asset and will ultimately lead to our success in being one of the GCC's most
valued, respected and fastest growing consultancies.
We need you to be accountable and responsible for client contact, client
happiness and client committed revenue with our business. Your purpose will be
to deliver exceptional service and results for our clients from the value that
you bring but also in how you work with our subject matter experts. You will
facilitate our diamond relationship model, connecting our senior leadership
team with our clients' senior leadership team and make sure that our experts
get face time with our client teams and the key decision makers who's KPIs we
care about the most.
You will support on new business activities within the GCC primarily, helping
to create collateral, deliver presentations and put together proposals and
response documents that demonstrate our core values, our capabilities and our
passion and commitment to our clients.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities



  • Building relationships based on mutual value, knowledge sharing, strategy and technical know-how. Enabling our clients to be the best versions of themselves and achieve their goals

  • Developing and sustaining a deep holistic understanding of the client's business, using this understanding to drive the client's marketing and digital transformation strategy

  • Owning a predefined client base and being responsible for that client base's individual and collective spend with Sagittarius and the profitability of that spend through the operation of a client Profit and Loss account

  • Informing and converting client briefs into profitable projects for Sagittarius. Then ensuring all client briefs are understood and handed over to your Project Manager accurately and in a timely fashion. Ultimately being accountable for the final delivered product to the client's satisfaction

  • Leading client presentations and making sure that both our team and the client team are fully briefed and in the right place at the right time

  • Leading on New Business opportunities in the GCC. This includes project managing pitch responses from ideation to creation and submission and ensuring that all deadlines are met

  • Building relationships with our prospects so that they become long term valued customers that we do our best work for and consistently show up for


Personal Attributes & Skills



  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external teams, client and stakeholders

  • Excellent Arabic and English skills

  • Well organised and highly structured, able to create clarity and certainty for our prospects and clients, along with being able to demonstrate the value that we bring

  • An action-oriented style, with experience in actively driving growth


Experience



  • Must have experience working with Saudi clients and exposure of working internationally.

  • Account development and revenue generation

  • Developing and preparing project proposals and recurring-revenue contracts

  • To have held a similar position either within an agency environment or to have worked with multiple internal "clients" managing accounts or multiple streams of work.


Technical Skills
* To be highly insightful and effective in proposing digital strategies - understand website UX and be able to and interpret analytics reports
* An understanding of current technology and methodology used to build enterprise DXPs
* An understanding of Ecommerce principles and strategies
* An understanding of SEO principals and the successful application of them in the design and build of web sites
* Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Good working knowledge of Web Content Management Systems
* Good working knowledge of working with a CRM to manage clients and proposals
