Oliver Wyman is now looking for Translation Workflow Coordinator in our
Riyadh office.
The Opportunity:
Oliver Wyman Middle East is looking for a Workflow Coordinator in our
Translation function. The Workflow Coordinator is the first point of contact
for our clients and will support our Arabic Translators in scheduling client
requests and providing seamless access to our translation service. You will
join our professional translation support function and give you the
opportunity to build your career. If you are responsive, highly motivated,
have excellent negotiation and organisational skills, and have a keen eye for
detail, then the role of Translation Workflow Coordinator might be the one for
you.
Key responsibilities:
* As a Workflow Coordinator based in our Riyadh office, you are responsible for coordinating our client requests in the region.
* You act as the key contact point between our consultants and translators, providing a seamless and positive customer service experience
* Your daily tasks include constant interaction with our clients where you help determine the scope of each request, balancing capacity and demand for the translation team and actively seeking solutions
* You will be managing the translation inbox, coordinating 20 requests daily, find solutions to conflicting schedules and respond quickly to any changes occurring in the planned daily routine
* You will be assigning and updating tasks to translators, prioritizing work (with support from Manager or Team Lead)
* You are able to confidently troubleshoot minor work-related issues
* You will also be coordinating with vendor on overflow of requests, tracking outsource projects and processing of invoices
* In a rapidly changing environment, you stay organised and ensure optimal utilization
Personal specification:
* Possess 2-6 years of relevant experience
* Highly organized, operates well within a team, as well as independently
* Professional, tactful, and able to engage with colleagues at all levels in the firm
* Keen to work in a fast-paced and dynamic client-services environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to deal with people across a multicultural environment, both in person in person and virtually
* Flexible attitude, hard-working and results driven
* Ability to demonstrate strong planning and organization skills.
Technical skills/Qualification:
* Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Familiar with CAT (Computer-Aided Translation) Tools is a plus
* Experience in translation industry is an advantage
* Educated to Graduate level (Degree in translation/languages)
* Language skills - fluent in English and Arabic - written, reading, and spoken
