Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Commercial Manager to join
our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Provide support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects and ensure that commercial staff attains their maximum potential.
* Interact with client and address all inquiries related to commercial and contract maximize the profitability of projects.
* Payment of sub-contractors.
* Preparation of pre contract cost plans.
* Cost and budget control
* Managing a team of quantity surveyors/cost engineers
* Internal cost comparisons and cost projections
* Analysis of cost over-run and other implications.
* Preparation of tender documents
* Procurement of consultants and Contractors
* Negotiation and award of contract packages
* Preparation of cost reports
* Negotiate final accounts with sub-contractors.
* Responsibility for all financial contractual issues arising during the course of his contract.
* Identify legitimate contractual claim situations and prepare suitable and sufficient documentation to clients.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field and 15 years demonstrable experience in a commercial role
* Demonstrates a knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions.
* Precontract cost planning essential
* Previous experience gained working with a PQS firm is preferred
* Experience of preparing tender documents and BOQ's
* Cost planning and cost estimating experience and must.
* Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

* Member of a professional body, is preferred but not essential
* Good team player and communicator.
* Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
