System Engineer
A systems engineer will have the following core responsibilities:
* Work closely with commercial sales team members to meet quarterly revenue goals.
* Technically qualify sales opportunities.
* Provide technical support to the sales organization, both pre- and post-sale.
* Drive preference for A10's solutions with both end-user and channel partners
* Deliver compelling Proof of Concept (PoC) and solution demonstrations to key prospects
* Deliver high quality technical training to channel partners and customers as and when needed.
* As and when required, provide analysis and input on feature requests required by customers and help qualify the value, timescales and win probability of having such features in the product.
* Maintain high levels of training on current product features and the competitive products and solutions
* Assist post sales/TAC in diagnosing and mitigating issues with key customers as and when required
Technical Skills
* Extensive knowledge & experience in Telecom and service providers security technologies (e.g. GiFW, DDoS, GTP FW, RAN SEG, etc.)
* Extensive knowledge & broad understanding of 5G technologies and ecosystem
* Prior working experience and knowledge of Mobile/3G/4G technologies
* Familiarity with and understanding of security features and application protocols such as FTP, DNS, SIP, Radius, Diameter, GTP, SCTP, etc. is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Management and team leadership skills are important
* Ability to understand customer's business need
* Ability to work independently and also as part of a group
Requirements:
* Minimum 5-8 years' experience in the Mobile Telecommunication, Service Providers and Network Security
* BS in Computer Science or technical degree
* Background knowledge and experience with mobile network's architecture, protocols and security is a must
* Prior experience & knowledge in networking & services providers security technologies
* Extensive knowledge & experience in virtualization & Telco Cloud technologies (SDN, NFV, network slicing)
