As a Chemical Technician, you will be performing duties that assist in the
production of finished chemical products
As a Chemical Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Transporting, loading, and unloading chemical products and raw materials.
* Drumming out products from reactors and blenders.
* Collecting product samples and delivering them to the QC lab for analysis.
* Analyzing samples for required QC tests (viscosity & specific gravity tests)
* Blending/ production operations (PPT, CRAFT, etc)
* Acquiring basic computer skills
* Assisting in the collection, labeling and disposal of waste
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a strong chemical background
* Have a minimum of ‎3 years of experience as a blending operator
* Have good knowledge of quality tests/inspections and always comply with HSE regulations
* Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or higher
* Display strong written and oral English & communication skills
* Have sound decision making & problem-solving skills
