About the position
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing,
and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and
productivity. By delivering a best-in-class planning and execution for the
Aved øre production site, you will have an important impact on the future
performance of Oterra.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy for the Aved øre
production plant
* Lead the supply chain team of 11 direct reports, consisting of production planners, procurement assistances and warehouse operators performing kitting for production.
* Plan and direct activities and operations of the Supply chain area, including Raw Material (RM) supply, production planning (short/medium/longer term with S&OP), kitting of RM for production
* Ensure the creation and maintenance of the production plan in balance to available capacity and monthly master production schedule and/or material resource plan
* Setup a new standard for best-in-class production planning and execution supported by SAP S4Hana (implemented in 2022),
* Communicate with many stake holders in and outside Oterra to align supplies, production plans and sales forecast.
* Work closely with site management team to secure optimal site operations as well as you liaise daily with Oterra DK Logistic center around the corner.
* Ensure high degree of employee engagement, development and performance, and further develop safety across your department.
Who are we looking for?
You have an academic background in SC management or related education, and you
have thorough experience within Supply Chain and production planning from an
international organization. We expect you to be a strong peoples' manager and
good communicator.
To succeed in this position, you:
* Are self-driven with a solid business understanding and strong continuous improvement mindset
* Can thrive in an environment, where a lot needs to be done, and you enjoy putting structure to processes
* Have min 5 years of experience with planning, procurement, and stock management
* Have min 3 years of experience with people management, and you can engage effectively with different kind of employees.
* Have experience with SAP ERP, preferably SAP S4Hana and eWM
* You are strong data analytics skills, and you enjoy gathering, processing and presenting large data sets in digestible format
* Are an engaging leader, who coach and support your team to deliver on the strategic agenda.
* Establish good relationships and can easily collaborate with stake holders from the site and internally in Oterra as well as externally.
* Are fluent in English, oral and written, working knowledge of Danish.
