Core Job Responsibilities:
* Full management for Demand and Supply for Egypt affiliate, 61 raw materials or intermediary SKUs and 85 finished products SKUs, 4 local Third Party Manufacturing facilities and 9 Distributors.
* Preparation and review of monthly Demand statement files showing 28 months forecast for In Market and To Market sales for all products.
* Challenge the commercial team on their submitted forecast to ensure the forecast for the next 28 months both IMS and TMS is realistic and achievable.
* Maintain marketing assumptions to ensure sales forecast is aligned to the latest market situation and brand strategy monthly.
* Preparation of monthly reports and dashboards comparing approved demand statements (24 months sales forecast) versus Plan, versus RLBE and versus previous month. Analyzing the brands performance accordingly and providing clear commentary on the variances.
* Monitor inventory and DOH levels of won inventory on a monthly basis and in year closing and publish the replenishment forecast accordingly to maintain healthy stock level and ensure local production is uninterrupted through close alignment with TPM manager.
* Monitor DOH levels at the distributor level in coordination with distribution department to ensure safety-stock and influence the team to ensure adequate and healthy stocks are maintained for all SKUs.
* Following up with the customer service specialist and supply planners to ensure goods are allocated and shipped on time as scheduled.
* Provide complete and fast customer service to internal and external customers. Make sure all deadlines are met and reports are 100 accurate and up to date.
* Regulate Monthly Supply/RA meetings to ensure full alignment between both departments regarding NPIs and all RA variations.
* Ensure Business Excellence key performance indicators are within target. Prepare Root Cause Analysis and closing action plans for all misses for all measured KPIs monthly.
* Prepare monthly Forecast accuracy KPI error report and submit to Division BEx with root causes and closing action plans.
* Liason with APO front and back office Customer service departments, follow up on monthly orders scheduled for shipments and documents receipt and ensure products will be released on time for sale to meet LBE targets.
* Follow up with RA/Importation team on providing MOH approvals in a timely manner through fulfillment of all MOH requirements to ensure shipments ' clearance on time.
* Transportation coordination for the bulk shipments to TPM and ensure they are compliant with MOH regulation/Abbott QA
* Coordinate shipping/local transportation from Ports to affiliate warehouse.
* Ensure goods are packaged under Abbott QA supervision and documentations are in line with APO records.
* Ensure documentations are readily available for internal/external Audit.
* Align quality control process in line with Abbott Global QA systems and standards.
* Ensure correct temperatures are maintained in warehouse especially for cold chain products.
* Responsible for SAP update on monthly basis in terms of units and ASP and for meeting the forecast publish monthly deadline (WD7). Ensure that the correct codes are maintained to provide accurate demand analysis for Supply planners.
* Publish the monthly Approved Demand Statement & Report commentary on key changes, gaps and gap closing activities to Area Headquarters.
* Contribute in Class A certifications by aligning and following up with all stakeholders to ensure Class A standards and behaviors are being implemented across the organizations.
* Ensure that all administrative aspects of the job are handled per Global Business Excellence calendar and Class A standards.
* Responsible for new product launches business case creation and update the launch timelines on the ATOM tool. Maintenance of the ATOM Tool closely to reflect actual implementation dates and ensure all approvals are provided in due time.
* Act as the main affiliate New Product Introductions (NPI) coordinator who is responsible for the sanity and accuracy of all new launch timelines. Regularly updating the NPI tracker on monthly basis.
* Alignment of all stakeholders involved in the NPI process through coordination of the monthly NPI Review in the Affiliate.
* Responsible for ensuring accuracy of data and one set of numbers for all systems and files for all demand and NPI related functions. Prepare and send monthly sales adjustments when needed and reconcile all systems together to ensure 100% match for figures.
* Ensure post-launch reviews are held on time for all new launches.
* Liaison between the Area NPI Coordinator and the Affiliate organization and maintain excellent relations with Business excellence and both commercial and operational NPI colleagues in area and division offices.
* Responsible for accurate Fin Plan upload on an annual basis on BOBJ sales, units and codes per SKU.
* Coordinate with the Supply Planners to manage abnormal demand, tenders, (potential & actual) back orders and product allocation issues and communicate to internal stake holders.
* Owner and Coordinator of the monthly affiliate "Sales and Operations planning"; responsible for preparation of the pack and gathering all inputs from assigned S&OP committee. Responsible for the Demand & NPI tasks presented in the S&OP by preparing monthly financial reconciliations and dashboards highlighting brand performance versus plan, RLBE and prior month's figures.
* Ensure gaps are escalated from the Demand Review with gap-closing recommendations monthly to the S&OP committee. Following up with the committee regularly through the month to ensure their assigned actions are performed within the allocated deadlines.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or Business Administration is a plus
* Master 's degree is a plus.
* 8 -10 years' experience in the logistics field with Minimum 2 years of managerial experience
* Strong experience in Demand Forecast Planning and Supply Planning
* Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
* Able to communicate with overseas planning centers.
* Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
* Hard-working, good cooperation, and able to work under pressure of time constraint.
* Advanced Excel and database skill is a must
