The incumbent will be responsible for controlling all production parts
shipments till arrive to Nissan Motor Egypt. Communicate with IDA (Industrial
Development Authority) for getting the benefit of reaching approved local
content according to customs Law Article No 6 (Local Ratio Adaption) on
monthly parts shipments.
Communicate with different governmental authorities to release parts smoothly
e.g. (Customs Authority and Ministry of Industry)
Responsibilities:
Control all service providers settlements for sea shipments covering direct
parts to confirm the cost mitigation with contracted rates.
Control service provider declaring process to confirm smooth operation &
parts release as per STD lead time.
Issuing approval from (Industrial Development Authority) for all CKD Performa
invoices every production month to gain localization ratio reduction
percentage on CKD Parts custom duty.
Control all shipment by container arrival plan to confirm smooth receiving
operation at warehouse.
Review with the custom committees (from obliterations) all CKD shipment
arrived to NMEG had been produced as per customs release purpose to avoid any
customs penalties.
Issuing certificate of origin for any export transaction (Vehicles / Spare
Parts) to make sure that consignee could have smooth declaring operation.
Refund paid custom duty for any vehicle export or sailed to interior exempted
entity (Free Zone Sales) to save company cash.
Prepare all governmental letters & communicate with governmental parties
responsible for Nissan declaring process to sustain NMEG declaring smooth
operation.
Control SAP System for CKD shipments & facilitate any problem upon occurrence
to avoid any system leakage.
Relevant Experience & Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in the same field
Bachelors degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management
Certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Self-motivated Individual with professional behavior who operates under
highest standards of ethical conduct
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Written and oral fluency in English
