Job brief


Implementing various HR activities within the assigned function in alignment
with corporate HR guidelines and policies. Ensuring better understanding to
the departments needs and enhancing the perceived value of HR to all
stakeholders while establishing credibility and trust.


Responsibilities


‎1. Follow-up and ensure timely gathering of HC requests during each budget
exercise.
‎2. Receive and challenge annual HC budget requests (permanent and off-
payroll), from assigned functions, based on functions strategic demands in
alignment with company business directions.
‎3. Submit to corporate HR the justified HC submissions.
‎4. Reflect approved HC on organization charts and ensure regular update of
job descriptions.
‎5. Validate new hire requests against the HC plan of assigned departments.
‎6. Search for and screen potential profiles to match requested entry level up
to professional positions descriptions from all defined recruitment sources.
‎7. Conduct relevant tests and competency based structured interviews for
short-listed candidates.
‎8. Agree with department hiring manager on final selection to proceed with
offer stage.
‎9. Communicate job offers to candidates following corporate HR general
guidelines and compensation structure for entry level up to professionals.
‎10. Give selected candidate the pre-employment medical checkup letter along
with a list of needed personnel documents.
‎11. Send new hires confirmation details to corporate HR for necessary
actions.
‎12. Ensure proper on-boarding of new employees.
‎13. Ensure completion of appraisals through close follow up with people
managers to meet deadline.
‎14. Review and challenge cascaded objectives to ensure being smart and
aligned with departmental Objectives.
‎15. Identify the functional training needs and budget and send to concerned
teams for validation.
‎16. Ensure employees timely enrollment in the training plan, through HRMIS,
as per the announced deadlines and that their courses are relevant to their
PDPs.
‎17. Provide continuous counseling to employees on their development needs and
advise them on relevant training programs.
‎18. Support Training team in sending out training invitations, evaluations
data entry, course opening and observation and reporting no shows/late
arrivals to respective management or undertakings.
‎19. Receive promotion requests and validate against set criteria and
guidelines and send final lists to corporate HR for further actions.
‎20. Advise, guide and support managers on all matters related to ethics and
employee relations to ensure a fair and consistent approach.
‎21. Attend the employee grievance and workplace discipline cases with the
employee relation department.
‎22. Attend the exit interviews meeting, analyze the reason of resignation.
‎23. Receive promotion requests and ensure validation against set criteria and
guidelines for further actions.


Requirements


Education:
‎1. University degree from a reputable university.
‎2. Post graduate studies in HR are highly recommended.
Experience:
‎1. ‎1-‎2 years of experience, ‎1 of which is in HR.
Skills and abilities:
‎1. Very good English both spoken and written.
‎2. Very good computer skills.
‎3. Strong presentation and communication skills.
‎4. Multitasking capability (able to manage several activities concurrently).
‎5. Flexible and adaptable (performs well in diverse and challenging
environments).
‎6. Strong organizational skills (can work around barriers without invoking
higher authority.
