The Australian Veterinary Hospital is looking to employ a part time or full
time veterinarian to complement our existing veterinary team. Applicants
should have experience in small animal medicine and surgery. Duties will
include daily outpatient consultations, in-patient treatment and management,
performing routine surgeries and general input into clinical areas. You should
have a veterinary degree recognised by RCVS (or equivalent), a strong sense of
client service and communication, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a
team. Fluent English skills are mandatory; any other languages are a bonus.
Areas of specialisation (orthopaedics, ophthalmology, homeopathy /
acupuncture) are a distinct advantage.
This position includes tasks in reception, administration and sales. You
should be an outgoing, friendly and well presented person who enjoys contact
with people as well as their animals. You must be fluent in English -
knowledge of other languages is a bonus. Previous experience in administrative
work or the animal industry is considered an advantage, but is not essential.
