Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Head of Primary for Al
Yasmina Academy in Abu Dhabi to start immediately.


Al Yasmina Academy is an outstanding English Curriculum school in the

To lead, inspire and guide the Primary School including staff, students and
parents to ensure the highest of standards of learning and achievement.
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the Primary School, to make a
strong contribution to the Executive Leadership Team and ensure that the
school’s vision and core values are at the heart of all Primary developments.
Actively promote a love of learning in line with the school’s mission and
vision
Promote culture of high achievement amongst students and staff
Lead strategy to develop and enhance the quality of teaching and learning
across Primary
Promote the sharing of exemplary practice and raising of standards across the
Primary School
Report regularly on the strategic impact within Primary
Ensure a consistent and continuous school wide focus on pupils’ achievement
which reflects the agreed vision and values, using data and benchmarks to
monitor progress in every child’s learning.
Lead in accessing, analysing and interpreting information to inform planning
for improvement.
Initiate and support research and debate about effective teaching and
learning.
Develop relevant strategies for improvement
Ensure that learning is at the centre of strategic planning and resource
management.
Establish creative, responsive and effective approaches to learning and
teaching in line with the vision and values, which are embedded in a culture
and ethos of challenge and support where all pupils understand their
individual worth, can become engaged in their own learning and achieve
success.
Run an effective Primary School to a high standard

Run an effective Primary School to a high standard
Ensure clear channels of communication throughout the Primary and phases of
the school
Strategic oversight and accountability of all Performance Standards
Establish a safe and purposeful learning environment in line with child
safeguarding policies and promote child safeguarding awareness and competence
among staff
Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Primary School
Lead on Marketing the Primary School, working closely with the Parent
Relations and the Marketing team.
Strategic oversight of the admissions process, working closely with the
administration team for marketing and enrolment.
Contribute to the strategic vision by implementing School Development Plans to
help the school achieve long-term strategic goals.
Implement and lead staff and students through the school vision
Strategic lead to develop assessment and reporting processes for the Primary
school.
Strategic development for positive culture, ethos and standards within the
Primary school
Development of staffing structure and recruitment process to retain excellence
and recruit high quality teaching professionals into the team
Lead on an effective communication strategy for the Primary school
Strategic lead for parental engagement and involvement of the school community
Lead on the Quality Assurance of all events related to the Primary School
Lead the achievement of KPIs set out in the School Development Plan
Lead the performance management process in primary ensuring targets are linked
to the SDP and are challenging
Lead the production of an annual primary resources budget in line with both
the SIs and SDP improvement priorities
Lead on annual primary staffing and CAPEX budgets based on the NOR, SIs and
SDP priorities
Strategic lead on teaching & learning, CPD, induction / probation for primary
colleagues in line with policy and procedure
Strategic lead for monitoring, evaluation, and review of all school processes
to secure greater student outcomes
Lead alongside HR with Primary staff processes
Develop roles and responsibilities of the Primary Leadership Team
Promote a coaching ethos throughout the school through middle leadership and
learning and teaching to promote excellence and high achievement
Nurture talent and develop succession planning of middle leaders within the
Primary School
Line manage Assistant Principals within the Primary School
Line manage whole school department/s.
Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Principal or Head of School.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject with QTS/PGCE in Education Leadership
/ any subject with coursework in educational and / or organizational
leadership.


Minimum Experience
Minimum of six years teaching English National Curriculum
Minimum of five years of leadership experience as within Senior or Middle
Leader role of within an international school setting.


Leadership experience in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and
standards-based assessment.

Ability to identify problems, achieve effective solutions, resolve conflict,
motivate staff and foster collaboration, and promote sound decision making.

curriculum, assessment, and compliance.

requests from various audiences.
A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum Qualifications
