Responsible for all financial management aspects of business covering
Corporate and Correspondent Banking in view of Bank's strategy. Also provide
leadership and coordination in the Branch business planning, budgeting, and
performance measurement.
Competencies required
* Manage and direct the Accounts and Administration Department;
* Ensure proper financial records, reviewing the accounting related operations for continuous improvement and alignment with Group's and UAE Accounting standards;
* Maintain high standard procedures in handling administrative and accounting matters for the Accounts and Administration Department;
* Responsible of General Ledger Reconciliations, including Nostro Accounts reconciliation, P/L reconciliation, Interportfolio, Systems' reconciliation, et;
* Responsible for drawing Financial Report to Head Office.
* Responsible of Tax Return;
* Control administrative expense budgeted and related payments;
* Responsible for cost budgeting and monitoring;
* Support Senior management in the annual budgeting procedures;
* Manage and act as first point of reference during recurrent internal audit's inspection in coordination with Management;
* Maintain Accounts and Administrative Department's Procedures and Policies manuals.
* Responsible for the annual audit and interim audit. Prepare financial statements with all necessary disclosures as per IFRS, IAS and ISA.
* Central Bank Relationship: Responsible for liaison with Central bank's team on every aspects like annual inspection, general provisions, capital adequacy, monthly BRF reporting and Basel Reporting.
More than 5 years of experience as Accountant Manager or Chief Accountant
Experience on preparation of local Central Bank reporting.
