We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our
dynamic team for a prominent infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. The
successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and precise
measurements through the utilization of advanced surveying equipment,
including GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have a
strong background in land surveying, proficiency in modern surveying
technologies, and the ability to contribute to the successful execution of
large-scale infrastructure projects.

Jacobs is construction supervision consultant for a multi-billion development
mixed-use historic, culture and lifestyle destination. The project will be the
Kingdom's historic and cultural heart, proudly showcasing to the world Saudi
Arabia's ‎300+ years of history through an engaging and inspiring set of
heritage, hospitality, education, retail and dining experiences for residents
and visitors. It aims to be developed as an urban, mixed-use development
inspired by the principles of both new urbanisms ensuring its main anchors
rooted in its historic culture and heritage. Ultimately, the destination will
include museums, galleries, restaurants, retail experiences, public squares,
hotels, multiple recreational spaces, residences, educational institutions and
offices.

Survey Planning and Preparation:
* Develop comprehensive survey plans, considering project requirements and specifications.
* Conduct field reconnaissance to identify key survey control points and establish benchmarks.

Field Survey Operations:
* Utilize advanced surveying instruments such as GPS and Total Station to collect accurate and reliable data.
* Perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys as per project needs.
* Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of survey equipment.

Data Processing and Analysis:
* Process survey data using relevant software, including AutoCAD, to generate precise maps and drawings.
* Analyze survey data for accuracy and consistency, making necessary adjustments as required.

Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Provide clear and concise reports on survey findings and progress.

Quality Control and Assurance:
* Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
* Conduct regular checks on field and office processes to maintain high-quality standards.

Adherence to Standards and Regulations:
* Stay informed about relevant surveying standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and project specifications.

Here 's What You'll Need:

Qualifications -
Recent previous experience (within last ‎10 years) as a Land Surveyor for major
infrastructure projects that are complex in nature and are ideally located in
the Saudi region.
* Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in infrastructure projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia. ‎5-‎10 years' experience in site supervision and surveying is ideal.
* Proficiency in using GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD for surveying and mapping.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with local surveying regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
