Job Description and Qualifications

II. Summary

This position is responsible for the successful execution of Project Logistics
strategies on NEOM Green Hydrogen Project The incumbent is charged with
supporting the developing, negotiating, implementing and maintaining
competitively advantageous supply agreements. The incumbent interfaces
primarily with the Engineering, Procurement and Project Execution teams within
Project, supporting new plant build proposals and projects

The incumbent will be required to have intimate knowledge of the shipping
markets, practices and standards.. This position supports supplier/contractor
relationship management to ensure alignment with operations and business
strategies. This position challenges technical specifications, commercial
practices, operating practices and business processes with a focus on driving
cost-effective operations. Strong Project Logistics knowledge, , project,
planning and negotiating skills are required with shipping companies
specialized in logistics of Power Industry Logistics.

IV. Principal Accountabilities

The Logistics Manager is expected to:
* Interface with a variety of functions including operations, engineering, legal, and business management to achieve goals.
* Effectively utilize Logistics Material Control system
* Effectively utilize e-Sourcing tools to launch inquiries and receive supplier quotations/proposals.
* Assist in developing strategies for and lead the commercial contracting negotiations for 3rd party logistics services.
* Develop efficient bid tabulations and lead sourcing reviews with a cross functional team.
* Act as Project Logistics Manager with bid phase Shipping estimates and development of cost forecasts
* Identify, develop and manage suppliers; understand safety, commercial and capacity risks.
* Has previous experience with the Power Generation and Transmission related logistics markets and the industries in which we do business.
* Monitor, communicate, and respond to changing market conditions and business drivers to maximize leverage and minimize risk.
* Lead cross-functional teams involved in supplier discovery and optimizing Air Products' logistics spend.
* Work closely with supported businesses and functional organizations to ensure stability and cost effectiveness of supply.
* Bring innovative supplier solutions to maximize value proposition for individual projects and or across the supply chain.
* Effectively participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
* Assist in managing supplier performance and maintain interface within supplier's organization.
* Manage budgets and achieve targeted savings, develop and manage key supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business strategies.

V. Job Requirements
.
* Minimum of ‎10 years of industrial experience, involving international transport, trade and project logistics / project management experience.
* Develop and lead end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods. Manage Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.
* Experience in working in logistics of Power generation and Transmission Projects including, Wind Power Plant, Solar Power Plant, electric substations, and Transmission Lines
* Experience with the import of Major Power Plant Equipment like Turbines, Transformers, GIS, Cables, Conductors, Solar Panels, Reactors and Battery storage systems
* Independently Lead & handle the Sourcing & Logistics for all the Power Projects including, Wind Power Plant, Solar Power Plant, electric substations, and Transmission Lines
* Must have experience working with logistics from China, India, Europe, USA
* Lead in all technical & non-technical contracts of Renewable Power plant and Grid Substations
* Handled all import and export matters for the Renewable Power plant and Grid Substations within the stipulated timeframe to meet the deadlines of project
* Flexible working and short notice travel ability
* Strong organizational, team and time management skills.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and non-technical information.
