JC1432-Senior Officer Credit Control Eastern

• This role supports in overall management of Credit Control and Monitoring functions in terms of all its administrative and functional aspects in order to fulfil the mission of early detection and ultimate elimination of avoidable credit losses of accounts falling under the purview of the Risk Management Group. To achieve this objective, this job ensures compliance with banks internal credit policies and SAMA regulations - in specific relation to the asset classification aspects of such policies and regulations - in addition to promoting credit discipline within the bank with parallel focus on improving the prevailing credit policies, procedures and practices as might prove necessary.


• Knowledge of core credit systems of the Bank, approval process, including performing day to day operational functions of CCM.


• Ensure that the credit approval have been obtained from the competent authority and other formalities have been completed or otherwise notify BL/ CRD of any identified discrepancy;


• Ensures completeness (sanity check) of the documentation (loan agreements, Guarantees, pledges etc) in accordance with the approved terms and conditions of the credit before any loan disbursement is effected or otherwise notify BL/ CRD of any identified discrepancy;


• Implementation of Proper Controls of limits in the Credit Management System and actual activation of limits (maker or validator accordingly to the years of experience);


• Passing day to day Portal Transactions (OD/ Loans & Trade), highlighting breaches and routing the workflow in line with the DOA (maker or validator accordingly to the years of experience);


• Ensure compliance with CCM procedure/ DOA & SLA and the Credit Policy;


• Provide recommendations for improvements in prevailing internal credit policies, procedures & best practices;


• Perform add hoc assignments on timely manner

• A thorough understanding of the Credit Monitoring process


• Good knowledge of process improvement methods and techniques


• Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of business software programs


• Effective English report writing skills for direct communication with various management levels. (Ability to read and write Arabic will be a definite advantage)


• A good understanding of strategic planning concepts and techniques


• Bachelor degree in Business Administration and credit background


• At least ‎2-‎6 years of experience working with a reputable bank in the areas of credit risk management and/or corporate relationship management
