Overview:
This role is primarily about developing and driving the initiatives to enable
Weatherford to attract, develop, engage and retain Saudi talent; and to
maximize the potential and productivity of Saudi employees by motivating them
to remain competitive in the short and long term and promote diversity and
inclusion in the workplace. This role will require identification of gaps in
human performance and team effectiveness to drive development, delivery and
measurement of leader goal achievement, engagement, retention and customer
satisfaction in support of overall business results and balance employee needs
with business objectives to create integrated solutions.
Responsibilities:
SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
* Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company's Rules to Live By
* Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at risk
* Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations
* Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises


QUALITY
* Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System
* Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement


OPERATIONS
* lead Weatherford commitments related to the Human Resources investment inline with IKTVA
* Set the framework, develop KPI, measure delivery & execution for all product lines in country
* Working with the Product lines to ensure their Saudization plans and staffing match the business needs and ensure that staff are developed to meeting the needs of the Saudization requirements.
* Ensuring that knowledge transfer objectives are achieved.
* Work with the talent acquisition team to attract the best Saudi talent; work closely with HRDF or other relevant government departments to implement Saudization strategy
* Orientation and the onboarding for new Saudi staff ensuring that each new employee has the tools, information and personnel resources needed for success
* Work with managment to develop strategies to appropriately place, retain and develop the Saudi employees
* Ensure regular meetings with the management and be approachable to Saudi employees and their supervisors and line managers to provide them with professional guidance and support
* Monitor career path plans for the Saudi employees
* Establish partnerships with supervisors and line managers within the business and the Talent Development team to implement customized learning and development interventions for work groups; ensure training is focused on increasing the capabilities of employees to perform in their roles/jobs.
* Enhance cultural awareness within the company, help the non-Saudi colleagues understand and respect the Saudi traditions and work culture of the Saudi population, and help the Saudi employees integrate better in Weatherford work culture
* Ability to scan the external environment to understand best practice, identify opportunities and shape the Saudization strategy
* Provide guidance to supervisors and line managers for the performance management of Saudi employees; ensure the smooth exit of continuous / chronic poor performers.
* Ownership of the Saudization orientation and induction program.
* Manage records of every Saudi employee under the training program in conjunction with the HR department and monitor their progress
* Audit of staffing and manpower processes to ensure they meet and exceed the contract requirements.
* Perform any additional duties assigned by Line Manager


COMMUNICATION
* Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
* Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
* Conducts regular meetings with assigned client groups, providing appropriate HR guidance and collaboration on relevant business and workforce priorities
* Analyzes data trends and metrics to assess and/or anticipate business risks and, in partnership with HR COEs, develops and/or deploys recommended solutions, programs and applicable policies


FINANCIAL
* All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
* Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure


PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
* Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience
* Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential
* Supervisors are expected to actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherford's performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities
* Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce

* Develop and lead a overall framework for execution of Workforce transformation.
* Partner with business leaders and IKTVA champions to define priorities and implementing actions & develop follow-up and operating rhythm


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


REQUIRED
* Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and high degree of attention to detail and follow through
* Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong problem solving mindset, with the ability to seek creative solutions to problems as they arise
* Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologyJD Specific
* Leads the implementation of HR projects within their assigned function(s), ensuring alignment with key business strategies.
* Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office tools


PREFERRED
* HR experience within the Oil & Gas sector
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
* Graduate degree preferably in Human Resource or related field
* Experience in Organization & Talent Development and development of Saudi nationals
* Demonstrated success managing projects and/or implementing process improvement initiatives
* Minimum ‎7 years of professional experience


PREFERRED
* SHRM/HRCI/ CIPD Certification
