NON-MAKE Security Assistant Manager

Job Main Purpose:
This is an operational country security role and the purpose is to implement
an approved security plan that is fit for purpose and aligned with the Country
Business needs, approved country security strategy and Group Security
standards and procedures. The Local implementation of the security strategy
and plans will ensure operational oversight of systems and processes to
support local needs, covering protecting people, protecting assets, conducting
Investigations and program management as appropriate.
The Non-Make Security Manager is responsible for providing leadership and
executing the approved security strategy across the country constantly
reviewing operational security risk.
Job Responsibilities
* Work closely with the site security /safety coordinators to ensure that all security measures are appropriate based on the security risk
* Review security architecture and ensure that existing controls are adequate, effective, and aligned to achieve management objectives.
* Drive the implementation of effective and cost-efficient security solutions to Unilever premises
* Ensure that sufficient resources are available to effectively implement the security plan and to liaise with and ensure that all HR measures are compliant
* Manage security vendors, and facilitate optimal delivery by them
* Work closely with the Country Security Officer (CSO) to ensure there is a consistent approach to security aligned with the NALI & Arabia Security Manager security objectives and escalate major incidents as necessary
* Management oversight of Protective Intelligence
* Preparing high quality reports including intelligence briefing and investigative reports.
* Contributing to the local response to crises and other significant events
* Contribute to the Executive and Event Protection when needed
* Ensure security training and awareness sessions for security staff, vendors / third parties and employees
* Overseeing the budget and expenditures of the above areas of responsibility and working with the Country Security Officer to ensures spend is reasonable based on the risk.
* Take responsibility of all local security officers and site supervisors to effectively manage the security operations. Support and assist the Country Security Officer (CSO) to achieve operations objective, resolve day to day issues of the Operations Team and ensuring timely completions of assigned tasks.
Job Main Requirements & Qualifications:
* Minimum ‎5 years of experience
* Strong experience of corporate security and operation in a supply chain / consumer environment
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Strong attention to details and problem solving
* Strong knowledge of corporate security system design, implementation and operation.
* Competent in investigative process and relevant local legislation / regulatory aspects
* Wide industry knowledge of corporate security (ideally with military or police background or equivalent private security) and business risk management measures
* Ability to demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating and developing a cross-functional team
* Strong knowledge of security systems principals
* Flexibility on travel within the country
