On-Site Application Engineer

Job Summary: Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially
experienced individual to be located at our customer premises. In this
function you will develop solutions for desalination market customers.
You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the
sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of pump/sealing solutions to meet
customer needs and improve Pump/Seal reliability/availability.
Act as the primary source of information regarding the design, application,
installation, and operation of pumps, mechanical seals and valves.
Support the MOC (Management of Change) process with all required
documentation.
Carry out reliability walkabouts and generate reports accordingly.
Carry out inventory analysis to validate the quantity of the spare parts
stored at customer premises.
Perform pump, mechanical seal failure analysis and produce reports
accordingly.
Manage contract Key Performance Indicators, ranging from pump valve/seal
reliability, On-time delivery, required stock, etc..
Preferred Experience / Skills:
* Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.
* Good communication skills
* Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
* SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
* BS or BA Degree in relevant field and ‎8-‎10 years relevant experience
