achieve Zero Hunger in our lifetimes. Every day, WFP works worldwide to
ensure that no child goes to bed hungry and that the poorest and most
vulnerable, particularly women and children, can access the nutritious food
they need.
In Egypt, WFP is committed to supporting the Government's priorities toward
the achievement of the SDGs. WFP's current five-year Country Strategic Plan

food and nutrition security for all Egyptians, as enshrined in both the
Constitution and the country's commitment to the Global Sustainable
Development Agenda.

response to refugees as well as resilience-building activities for refugees
and host community members. Through its "One Refugee Policy" WFP targets
vulnerable refugees irrespective of nationality with cash-based transfers to
ensure they can meet their essential food needs throughout the year. WFP's
approach to food security is two-pronged; it first ensures access to basic
food needs for vulnerable populations through immediate support, and secondly,
it addresses long-term resilience building for future self-reliance.

* Support and complement the Government's social protection programs
* Support the refugees and migrants through food assistance and resilience building
