AFR Operations Specialist

Currently, we are seeking for (AFR Operations Specialist)* , In
this role, the successful candidate must have the below qualities and
qualification;
Key Responsibilities
* Processes, handles and distributes all required documents in the receiving areas
* Performs booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines as defined by Product
* Performs delivery arrangement
* Ensures customer requirements are met and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements
* Ensures documents are completed and updated in a timely and efficient manner and according to regulations and internal procedures
* Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
* Monitor and Supervise the day to day operation of subordinates
* Train ,monitor and discipline of staff
* Assist staff for problems with carriers, shipper & consignee
Export Operations Management
* Manage relationship with carriers
* Ensure customer SOP and rates are in place
* Approve MAWB request, expense and E-Leave
* Monitor export activities (determines cargo type & prepares collection list)
* Final control of job files
* Solve shipment/cargo problems
* Monitor DGF Booking consolidation shipment
* Check finance report related export operational
Stakeholder Management
* Coordinate/liaise/work with Carrier contact on operational activities, issue resolution, process execution and performance improvements according to corporate policy
* Lead in discussions to negotiate rates and agreement terms to ensure commercial acceptability without risk, fitness for purpose & value
* Maintain good relationship
* Work closely with the DGF overseas office in arrangement of forwarding shipment including cost occurred
* Reviews VP ‎220 report
Process management
* Responsible for operational result at country/country group level AFR
* Defines, monitors and enforces targets to the operational units
* Select and assigns key positions to reach targets
* Analyses costs and cost structure of production on country/country group level, and derives improvement measurements and actions
* Responsible for constant improvement and optimization of production means (cost management), e.g. make or buy
* Ensure adherence to ISO standards
* Proposes IT needs and undertake operational activities that contributes to Operational KPIs
Main Tasks
* Customer service including the p/u request and follow the shipments with origin.
* Coordination with origin offices until pre-alerts received.
* To maintain close contact with customers and ensure that all operational and other issues are solved with or service level of operation.
* Track & trace shipments with local air lines & handling agents.
* Sending the pre alert to consignee.
* Documentation of import shipments.
* Daily reports of shipments handled & the d/o counter for air & sea.
Additional Tasks
* D/o counter
* Releasing the airfreight and ocean freight d/o
* Closing cash submitting to accounts end of working day
* Sending reminder to consignee in case delay of collection d/o by consignee.
* Inform origin office in case consignee didn't collected the delivery order.
Accountabilities
* Maintains solid customer relationship by handling their question.
* Arrival notice to customers on the same day of receiving the delivery order from the airlines.
* Pass the file for clearance & billing and same date of receiving the delivery order & releasing the d/o.
* Co-ordinate with sales team and operation to get more biz & clearance .
* No customer loss due to lack of customer service responses.
* Follow up and work based on the global KPI's and make sure all targets are achieved

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of ‎3-‎5 years' experience in many areas of AFR operations and pricing
* Good English and Arabic Both Written and Spoken
* Logistics Bachelor Degree or any relevant Business degree
* Good knowledge of the Air Freight and Forwarding Industry
* Good knowledge of Air freight product pricing
* Ability to communicate effectively on all levels
* Strong problem-solving mentality
