The Kitchen Department
manages all aspects of the food production including hygiene and safety. It
also ensures that guests are provided with an excellent and bespoke culinary
experience.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
* To participate and supervise various sections of the Kitchen as and when required
* To assist in keeping the Kitchen areas and items of equipment in a clean,hygienic condition
* To assist the Chef de Partie in controlling wastage and achieving gross profit targets
* Any other duties requested by your Manager or head of Department relevant to the job function
* To confirm with food hygiene regulations currently in force
* To reduce cost. Maintain gross profit
* To excel everyday to keep high standard as per the chef expectation
* To check the quality and freshness of your product and production
* Handle and store stock according to stock control procedures.
* To constantly examine food supplies to ensure that they conform to the quality standards stipulated by the company are adhered to
* Takes an active part in all facets of Training activities in theFood Preparation Department.

* To keep up to date with new development techniques and equipment and follow is superior for training
* To expose culinary creativity to the whole kitchen brigade and active contribute to the training of the outlets
To move into this position you should have:
* This opportunity is exclusively available to individuals with a currently valid transferable residence visa in Kuwait.
* Minimum one year of service in current position
* Minimum ‎4 Years experience in ‎5 hotels
* Team worker with a great attitude to work under pressure
* Good conversational skill in English
* Hotel School Certificate is an advantage
* Good personality & ‎5 appearance
* Excellent culinary catering talent
* Hot Kitchen experience is must
* Must have worked within a busy operation environment with a large brigade of chefs with multi-culture environment
* Basic Food & Hygiene training certification
* Good knowledge and understanding of the kitchen and its operations
* Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm at work
* Knowledge of procedures and methods used in the preparation, production, presentation and storage of food items is required
