JOB SUMMARY

Manages music programming throughout the property and performs as a DJ
regularly in event spaces and for special events as needed. Sets-up, operates,
and troubleshoots all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment, devices,
and systems. Verifies all sound system equipment is fully operational. Cleans
and repairs equipment when necessary. Labels any broken equipment and
communicates problems to manager/supervisor. Checks delivered equipment and
room set-up against banquet event order when needed. Communicates any
additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor. Operates and
maintains house audio system. Assists and instructs guests/customers regarding
proper usage and operation of sound system/DJ deck equipment, up-sell
different sound system services, and monitor equipment operation at
appropriate intervals. Breaks-down, removes, and secures equipment, set a
weekly and monthly activity plan and entertainment program for all the In-
House guest to keep them entertained all the time .

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
* High school diploma or GED; ‎5 years of experience in the music programming, musical project/DJ operations, or related professional area.
OR
* Associates degree in a musical field, or related major; ‎3 years of experience in Musical/DJ industry or a related professional area.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Sound Navigator Operations

• Performs at DJ booths daily or as needed in various property spaces.


• Monitors music styling in all outlets and works with the music styling team to verify music aligns with the brand.


• Organizes entertainment for banquet events when required.


• Organizes brand initiatives.


• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.


• Partners with and assists team members to promote an environment of teamwork with the intent to achieve common goals.


• Develops and maintains positive and productive working relationships with other associates and across departments.


• Protects company tools, equipment, machines, and other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.


• Sets-up, operates, and troubleshoots DJ equipment, devices, and systems.


• Verifies music system equipment is fully operational and cleans equipment when necessary.


• Labels any broken equipment and communicates problems to manager/supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities
* Provides escalated support for employees and guests via telephone and email and verifies proper resolution of each, including direct contact with stakeholders when necessary. Responds to and handles problems and complaints.
* Manages the communication of trends via prepared reports to the appropriate personnel, as well as corporate headquarters and other service centers.
* Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership.
