MSF - Belgium is recruiting
Base and Facilities Officer
Main Purpose:
Carrying out or supervising all maintenance logistics activities in MSF
facilities including vehicles, fuel consumption, and local infrastructure,
according to MSF standards and protocols in order to have the material,
infrastructure and vehicles in optimal running conditions
Accountabilities:
* Planning and arranging the vehicles movements, and ensuring implementation of standard and procedure of movement is in place
* Checking and ensuring the maintenance of MSF premises and facilities, as well as the general water supply, electrical, walls, ceilings ect.
* Performing maintenance of logistics equipment for cold chain, energy, IT and communication devices
* Tracking consumption of supplies, fuel, used in different facilities (office, houses, warehouse).
* Checking the maintenance of the various open spaces in the facilities and ensuring that domestic waste is correctly discarded
* Responsible for asset Inventories and the reallocation of equipment.
* Preparing the service agreement and checking the quality of work according to MSF standard.
* Carrying out local purchases if needed and alert the line manager if any problems linked to the quality or availability of the items to be purchased
* Supervise the watchmen and driversEducation :
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential
Experience :
* Essential to have previous working experience at least two years in a similar field
