Supply Chain Officer
Main Purpose:
Organizing and managing the daily supply chain activities and the teams
associated, in the project level, according to MSF protocols and standards in
order to ensure the optimal running of the activity
Accountabilities:
* Being responsible for the order, purchase, stock and freight management in the project level, monitoring and ensuring an efficient implementation of the overall daily supply chain activities
* Monitoring and ensuring a smooth running supply administration and the respect of the implemented supply procedures, proposing adjustments where needed.
* Being responsible for the supply database and the correct filing and archiving of the supply documentation in order to guarantee the availability and the coherence of supply data
* Communicating with customers, keeping them up to date concerning their orders status and prioritizing procurement and transport according to their needs
* Create Purchase orders, Field orders and monitor the backorder of Medical and Logistic items.
* Perform the stock management according to the procedures, ensuring reports are sent timely and inventories are done according to the mission policies.
* Support/visit to the PHCC upon the special request from the supervisor to assess specific needs and items to be procured.
* Administrate properly the reception and shipment of cargo.
* Respond of urgent needs of items from stock or to be procured, with flexibility.
* Search the best option in the market in terms of money for value, respecting the quality requirements, and ensuring accountability and transparency in the purchasing processes.
* Prepare Purchase list and update to ensure the current market price.Education :
* Bachelor degree in relevant field is essential
Experience :
* Essential to have previous working experience at least two years in similar field
Languages:
