POSITION SUMMARY
Looking for a female candidate to assist the Spa Manager in managing the daily
activities of the Spa & maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
in all aspects of operations, assuring delivery of ‎5 star guest services, safe
& harmonious work environment, productive & efficient working habits, staff
management, properly controlled inventories & expenses, treatments, training
and staff motivation, as well as daily supervision of staff schedules to
maximize revenues.
‎1. To ensure the smooth operation of the Spa over seeing all aspects of day
to day operations in terms of service, maintenance, safety and hygiene.
‎2. To ensure that all Spa areas are checked on a daily basis. To make sure
that they are safe, clean and ready for guests use.
‎3. To be aware of all the services provided and offered, both in the Spa and
Health Club, and of any promotions on offer at the time.
‎4. To have understanding of all the treatments on offer, and product
knowledge.
‎5. Provide consistent professional facial, beauty treatments, massage & body
treatments in accordance with spa protocols.
‎6. To ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standard.
‎7. Ensure maximum productivity of the Spa staff. E.g. Enforce systems for
areas of responsibilities for each therapist; ensure the receptionist
maximizes treatment bookings in the spa booking system.
‎8. To organize daily briefings with the staff as well as weekly team
meetings.
‎9. Ensure absolute cleanliness, hygiene & order, at all times, following
health and safety guidelines in all areas of the Spa E.g. change rooms,
prep/stockrooms, sterilization of equipment in the treatment rooms, displays
looking fresh, etc...
‎10. To participate in marketing & promotional activities.
‎11.Recommend and assist with promotions and packages with Spa Manager.
‎12.Be responsible for a consistent great experience that exceeds guests'
expectations and meets required standards.
‎13.Report any incidents, suggestions for service, or any other improvement
that requires attention to Spa Manager.
‎14. To ensure that all Guest and Members are treated in a polite and
courteous manner at all times.
‎15. Promote a positive and enthusiastic environment throughout the entire
Spa.
‎16. To give full co-operation to colleagues upon their request.
‎17.Represent Spa image at all times in terms of appearance and behavior.
‎18. Implement a Public Relations system for the on-going development of the
Spa.
‎19. During busy periods in order to ensure continuous high standards of
service, you may find it necessary to put in additional hours.
‎20. To assist with spa check-in / check-out procedures and spa reservations
when needed.
‎21. Ensure that s/he and the teams adhere to all hotel and company standards,
Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including Health, Hygiene
and Safety and maintain confidentiality for all guests and colleagues
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating and coaching
employees; serve as a role model. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work
conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure
uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain
confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome
and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and
address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank
guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and
professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and
completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and
maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach
common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; develop
and implement quality improvement or corrective action plans. Stand, sit, or
walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place
objects weighing less than or equal to ‎10 pounds without assistance. Perform
other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
