Head of Operations

Purpose
The Head of Operations, Middle East is responsible for nurturing a best-in-
class operational team that is accountable for consistently achieving regional
and group wide targets whilst building a fit for purpose structure that
promotes individual and team excellence. The role will be responsible for
developing sustainable operational capability to underpin business growth
whilst always ensuring a safe & structured working environment.
Your key responsibilities:

responsibilities:
* As a key member of Middle East Leadership Team, responsible for the developments of strategy, direction, & priorities, and for delivering against operational targets.
* Visible leadership of fostering a safety culture in Middle East, promotes and drives adherence to QHSE guidelines, and compliance with varying statutory regulations in Middle East
* Drive operational leaders to deliver on regular operational tasks & customer service, driving operational & commercial excellence.
* Manage effective use of internal operations systems & processes & related KPI's that drive & measure performance
* Manage all aspects of the operations standard so that policies, procedures, and protect the group's public reputation
* Be responsible for delivering the availability of both rental and non-rental assets including inventory in the region against agreed targets
* Lead the strategic planning / CAPEX process to determine the appropriate level of investment of our assets ensuring this meets the appropriate levels of returns.
* Contribute to business planning to develop a regional operations strategy that is consistent with the group's long-term objectives
* Provide leadership, coaching and development of operations team

Desired Skills:
* ‎10+ years of relevant experience in managing sizable teams across disciplines
* Ability to develop an effective and collaborative working rhythm at a senior level both internally and externally with the ability to manage up and down the structure as required
* Strategic focus and business planning knowledge, with ability to design and manage processes that are supportive of strategic and operational goals to support business growth
* Experience in implementing operations management processes and planning associated training
* Experience managing in a multi-site operating environment across GCC locations but not limited
* Well-developed interpersonal communication and influencing skills, equally comfortable dealing with suppliers, customers and colleagues
* Excellent presentation skills and experience in speaking to large audiences
* Customer driven person/behaviour
* Strong and proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload, and to manage the workload of others to ensure deadlines are met
* Financial and commercial awareness to ensure the cost management is within the agreed regional Operational targets
* People management skills including recruitment and selection, performance management, development, motivation and team building
