Job / Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of Finance and operations
within the department, manage day-to-day queries on key KPIs, streamline
processes related to business analysis, act as a business partner and ensure
controls compliance.
Major duties and responsibilities
Team management
Reports to the Associate Director who will be the performance manager.
Extend of work
Support to senior members of the team.
Deliverables
* Business communication, business partner role to resolve issues, collaborative relationships
* Ability to prepare timely MIS reports, dashboards, accurate reporting
* Working capital analysis and exposure on provisions
* Personal growth, learning and development
Required skills and knowledge's for the role
* Understanding of business processes related to a consulting firm
* Prior experience of using ERP
* Management planning and organization
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Prior experience in a managerial role
Knowledge / Technical Skills
* Finance accounting knowledge
* MIS reporting skills
* MS office Suite
* Consulting firm revenue operating model
* Experience on reporting to leadership on P&L and Balance sheet items
* Presentation decks
* Coach / Guide & Supervise junior staff working in the team
* Ability to interrogate and interpret large volumes of data
Education requirements:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in a Finance / Accounting.
* Master's Degree with accounting qualification (Preferable)
Work experience requirements:
* Minimum of 10 yrs experience in a finance operation's practice within a professional services Firm.
