Every single piece of furniture and fabric that adorns the hotel's 215 hotel
rooms and suites, and 169 residences, is designed and tailor-made by Versace
exclusively for the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai. Each of the hotel's 8
restaurants and bars is designed to have an al fresco terrace to reflect the
heritage of Palazzos, where the internal court was the informal space to meet,
dine and enjoy the weather. The three outdoor pools are decorated with mosaic
tiles and surrounded by palm trees and flowers. The beautifully landscaped
gardens and unobstructed views of the Dubai Creek and skyline, make this
luxury hotel an ideal venue for weddings and social events in Dubai.
CONDITIONS OF WORK : The Kids Club Attendant works primary in a closed
environment as well as in outdoor areas of the hotel. The physical work
consists of frequent standing and walking throughout shift, requires
flexibility in working hours and has only basic administrative
responsibilities. You might be required to work or manage other guest areas
due to operational needs. As per UAE labour law, 9 hours per day or 48 hours
per week plus an hour break per day. (Refer individual contract)
PURPOSE : To entertain children with activities according to their age
group, supervising them within the Kids Club area and ensuring that the daily
operation and services are maintained at the highest standards.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES : Comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel and
Residences, including all departments, services and outlets
Ensure the safety & security of children and anticipate dangers within the
area
Respect the rules & regulations of the Kids Club relating to fire, hygiene and
safety
Ensure all children attending the Kids Club have been registered by a parent
or guardian
Deliver activities, games & sport within area
Plan and organize ahead, to prepare for activities according to the activity
calendar
Help to organize special events and holiday activities in conjunction with
other departments
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Entertain children within the area of responsibility
Follow the confirmed and published activity schedule
Make initial contact with guests travelling with children
To call the paramedics in case of emergency/accident met by children within
the confined area
Update & acknowledge communication logbook
To provide information to the guests with regards to children activities
Collection of all equipment's / toys after the child finishes playing to
ensure safety in the play area
Maintain stock of items required for kids' activities such as paints, crayons,
papers, toys, etc through inventory and ordering new stock when needed
Check area for any problems and report to Technical Services
Compile monthly activities schedule, children monthly statistics and
inventories of the club's facilities
To complete opening & closing checklists
Ensure all areas are clean and well maintained
Record & report any engineering work necessary
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety and sanitation policies
Perform any related duties and special projects as requested by Senior
Management

QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL
Previous experience with children activity planning required
Certification in Child CPR and First Aid required
Graduate certificate in teaching, nursery or child care or related fields
