The Candidate

As Purchasing executive, **** you will join a committed finance team, driven
with the intent of delivering 'FIVE-star' financial experiences to an
international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich.

The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best
professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion
for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active
environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are
second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.

We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and
critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye
for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think
'on your feet' during changing situations is also essential.

You'll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving
service goals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Assistant Manager/ Manager and the team, in purchasing products and
services of superior quality for the hotel as per specification.
* Manage and process purchase requests on receipt ensuring competitive quotations, delivery dates and specifications are obtained
* Update all concerned departments and line managers with any problems related to the purchase order /contracts and implement corrective action as required.
* Administer the timeliness of the ordering process i.e. from material requisition to order placement, to minimize lead time, systematically monitor the compliance of the order terms by suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
* Provide support service to all departments to arrange materials & services, support the team on event management, logistics etc.
* Periodic site visit to monitor work progress and performance measurement of supplier and contractors.
* Closely monitor all the suppliers, liaise and develop relationships with vendors and business partners to form effective cooperation.

Requirements
What We 're Looking For**
*
Hands-on approach with a 'can-do!' work attitude
* Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
* ‎1-‎2 years of experience in hotel purchasing or a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
* Experience working with different business stakeholders across multiple functions in a very dynamic environment.
* Positive, proactive outlook, hardworking and outgoing personality - and a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
* Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
* Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
* Strong working knowledge of industry regulations
