VAM Systems is currently looking for Vendor Management Expert for our
UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Qualifications - Required education, minimum work years' experience
•6-10 years' experience in IT transformation contract and vendor management
preferably within the Telco industry.
* Vendor management related certifications (such as MCIPS, CPCM, etc.) are desirable but not mandatory. Priority will be given to demonstrable skills.
* Knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Confluence/Jira is strongly preferred specifically in relation to automation of vendor/contract performance measurement.
* Knowledge of Oracle ERP for PR creation and other approval flows is required.
Technical skills
•Strong expertise is dashboard creation and reporting tools.
* Strong expertise in vendor and contract performance management.
* Strong expertise in vendor governance and vendor risk management.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Good expertise in IT/Technology/Digital contract T&Cs, including agile ways of working.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and fostering positive vendor relationships towards obtaining the required business objectives.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills as well as robust fact-based analysis.
* Ownership of end to end processes even if not 100% directly managed.
* Ability to easily integrate in a matrix, multicultural, and fast paced environment.
* Demonstrates high standard for personal motivation.
* Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
1.Develop automated vendor/contract performance and governance management
frameworks to identify evaluation processes for strategic and high impact
vendors across Ignite in coordination with other internal stakeholders.
2.Ensure created Jira/Confluence dashboards are continuously updated and
accurate.
3.Track vendor compliance, perform risk analysis, and prepare and coordinate
action plans in relation to created Jira/Confluence dashboards.
4.Support the du teams in monitoring adherence to the contractually agreed
SLAs and KPIs and identifying applicability of any service credits as a
result.
5.Create and submit PRs, CASs, MARs, and GSRNs and follow through to
approvals.
Milestones:
M1 -Completion and regular utilization of the vendor performance management
framework in recurring Business Performance Reviews led by CPM.
M2 -Completion of reusable reports and dashboards demonstrating key vendor
performance metrics and elements, contract consumption, and budget
utilization.
M3 -Comprehensive and correct mapping on Jira of inputs required to allow for
automated tracking.
M4 -Creation of PRs, CASs, MARs, and GSRNs on client 's ERP system in a timely
fashion (1-2 working days).
Key deliverables:
D1 - Deliver a comprehensive vendor performance and governance management
framework based on a balanced scorecard methodology.
D2 -Create vendor performance, contract consumption, and budget utilization
reports and dashboards on Jira/Confluence for tracking considering different
metrics and elements.
D3 -Automate vendors ' contractual (and non-contractual) performance including
required deliverables and targets so as to reduce manual work, as well as
automate inputs gathered for the creation of contract consumption and budget
utilization reports.
D4 - Raise PRs, CASs, MARs, and GSRNs on client's ERP system as required by
the CPM team.
This role falls under the Organization/Technology area and sits in the
Contract and Partner Management team.
The key purpose of the role is to have an expert vendor management
professional to create a governance framework for vendors ' performance
management, be responsible for automating the measurement of vendors'
contractual and non-contractual performance metrics, and create vendor
performance reports and dashboards accordingly in Jira/Confluence (Atlassian)
for tracking, while also maintaining similar dashboards for the department's
contracts consumption metrics and budget utilization metrics.
This role will also be responsible for raising PRs, contract approval sheets,
manpower approval sheets, goods and services release notes on client's ERP
system as would be required by the Contract and Partner Management team, in
support of team admin.
