Department Description:
Newly established unit for the purpose of expanding the business and providing
operational support for Emirates NBD Capital
Brief Description:
In this role you will be responsible for the management of the delivery of
Corporate Actions and for the oversight of the workflow performed by the
supporting team Furthermore you are also responsible for managing the daytoday
relationship with our clients as well as for ensuring a timely delivery of
client deliverables and reporting required by the relevant stakeholders
Detailed Description:
Manage and Process information flows on corporate actions as received from
various data sources
Responsible for the management of corporate action measures within EMEA
markets
Logging monitoring investigating and advising clients of upcoming corporate
action events
Responsible for overseeing that equity IPO applications are processed as per
client instructions and allotment credit is received on a timely basis
Collating and electing on client instructions in CREST and to external
custodians
Processing events in the custody system ensuring clients funding is adequate
and that book costs and shareholdings are correct
Reconciliation custody books with market and sub custodianCash Securities
Identify operational improvements and implement changes as agreed with
management
To ensure adherence to all the established procedures and continuous recommend
enhancements as and when required
Maintain risk within the levels set by the management team
Timely management and recovery of funds claimed by the bank from external
counterparties and monitoring of outstanding balances
Monitor incoming queries to ensure they are answered accurately and on a
timely manner
To interact effectively with all stakeholders within the department as well as
other departments in ENBD
FX processing where needed on corporate action and income events

Job Requirements:
Oversight and training of more junior team members
Manages the workplan and work allocation for the team to drive effective team
performance
Undertake management functions such as evaluations
Identify any systemprocess training needs and participate in resource planning
ensure cross training for all team members to ensure sufficient coverage is
always in place to ensure client service requirements are met
