Job Purpose:
Perform refuelling of aircraft by self safely on time and every time. Perform
quality control checks on product as per laid down standards of Chevron
Aviation Quality Control procedures. Perform preventive maintenance checks on
refuelling vehicles.
Principal Accountabilities
‎1. Prepare for fuelling:
o Checks the Dispo screen in FHS (Flight Handling System) for the allocated
flight by the shift supervisors.
o Note down vehicle and flight details and verify flight data (parking and
tail number) with UFIS (Universal Flight Information System),
o Note down the hydrant line product density, temperature and batch number.
o Check the allocated vehicle and check the Quality Control material status in
it.
‎2. Perform aircraft fuelling:
o Move to the allocated flight by the shift supervisor within planned time.
o Drive the assigned vehicle following airport safety and security rules.
o Position the vehicle safely and properly.
o Verify the flight details with noted details.
o Connect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operating Manual.
o Operate the car PC and make it ready I fuelling mood.
o Verify the fuel requirement with aircraft technician/pilot and start the
fuelling with his instruction.
o Perform the product visual check as per Chevron Aviation Quality Manual
during fuelling and completion of fuelling.
o Keep a constant vigil on the fuelling process, fuelling vehicle and
operations surrounding.
o Stop the fuelling based on figure given by the aircraft technician or order
to stop the fuelling.
o Complete the delivery ticket process either through car PC or prepare Manual
ticket.
o Disconnect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operation Manual
and verify all hoses are on place.
o Inform the shift supervisor about the fuelling completion and wait for
further instruction.
‎3. Perform aircraft refuelling with refueller
o Move to the allocated flight by the shift supervisor within planned time.
o Check the available quantity in assigned refuller.
o Drive the assigned refuller following airport safety and security rules.
o Position the refuller safely and properly.
o Verify the flight details with noted details.
o Connect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operating Manual.
o Operate the car PC and make it ready I fuelling mood.
o Verify the fuel requirement with aircraft technician/pilot and start the
fuelling with his instruction.
o Perform the product visual check as per Chevron Aviation Quality Manual
during fuelling and completion of fuelling.
o Keep a constant vigil on the fuelling process, fuelling vehicle and
operations surrounding.
o Stop the fuelling based on figure given by the aircraft technician or order
to stop the fuelling.
o Complete the delivery ticket process either through car PC or prepare Manual
ticket.
o Disconnect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operation Manual
and verify all hoses are on place.
o Inform the shift supervisor about the fuelling completion and wait for
further instruction.
‎4. Perform aircraft refuelling with refueller outside of the airport
o Move to the allocated flight by the shift supervisor within planned time.
o Check the available quantity in assigned refuller.
o Drive the assigned refuller following inside/outside airport safety
regulations.
o Position the refuller safely and properly.
o Verify the flight details with noted details and make sure it takes Jet A1.
o Connect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operating Manual.
o Verify the fuel requirement with aircraft technician/pilot and start the
fuelling with his instruction.
o Perform the product visual check as per Chevron Aviation Quality Manual
bfore fuelling and after completion of fuelling.
o Keep a constant vigil on the fuelling process, fuelling vehicle and
operations surrounding.
o Stop the fuelling based on figure given by the aircraft technician or order
to stop the fuelling.
o Complete the delivery ticket process either through car PC or prepare Manual
ticket.
o Disconnect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operation Manual
and verify all hoses are on place.
o Drive back to the airport following all regulations of driving.
o Inform the shift supervisor about the fuelling completion and wait for
further instruction.
‎5. Load refuller:
o Check the refuller ullage and go for loading as assigned by the shift
supervisor.
o Perform the product visual check as per Chevron Aviation Quality Manual
before loading and after loading.
o Drive refuller and position it for loading is designated area.
o Connect all hoses for loading.
o Keep a constant vigil on the loading process and surrounding.
o Complete the loading and inform the shift supervisor about the variance.
‎6. Perform defueling:
o Confirm with the supervisor if the refuller is empty.
o Move to the allocated flight by the shift supervisor within planned time.
o Drive the assigned refuller following airport safety and security rules.
o Position the refuller safely and properly.
o Verify the flight details with noted details.
o Take sample from aircraft tank and perform Quality Control Check as per
Chevron Aviation Operations Manual.
o Connect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operating Manual.
o Verify the fuel requirement with aircraft technician/pilot and start the
defuelling with his instruction.
o Keep a constant vigil on the defuelling process, defuelling vehicle and
operations surrounding.
o Stop the defuelling based on refuller capacity and technician advise.
o Complete the delivery ticket process either through car PC or prepare Manual
ticket.
o Disconnect the defuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operation Manual
and verify all hoses are on place.
o Inform the shift supervisor about the fuelling completion and wait for
further instruction.
‎7. Cash flight handling:
o Verify the cash price with shift supervisor.
o Move to the allocated flight by the shift supervisor within planned time.
o Drive the assigned vehicle following airport safety and security rules.
o Position the vehicle safely and properly.
o Verify the flight details with noted details.
o Give the customer the cash price and verify type of payment.
o Connect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operating Manual.
o Operate the car PC and make it ready I fuelling mood.
o Verify the fuel requirement with aircraft technician/pilot and start the
fuelling with his instruction.
o Perform the product visual check as per Chevron Aviation Quality Manual
during fuelling and completion of fuelling.
o Keep a constant vigil on the fuelling process, fuelling vehicle and
operations surrounding.
o Stop the fuelling based on figure given by the aircraft technician or order
to stop the fuelling.
o Complete the delivery ticket process either through car PC or prepare Manual
ticket.
o Collect the cash or swipe credit card based on payment method.
o Disconnect the fuelling equipment as per Chevron Aviation Operation Manual
and verify all hoses are on place.
o Inform the shift supervisor about the fuelling completion and wait for
further instruction.
‎8. Perform preventive maintenance checks to vehicles:
o Check the work plan board for allocated vehicles by the shift supervisors.
o Perform the checks as per daily check list form no.
o Complete checks log in visual check log book and daily check log book.
o Analyse the performance of the vehicle and identify the defects in the
assigned vehicles.
o Report the defects and problems to the shift supervisor and log them in the
maintenance log book.
o Perform weekly quality control checks as assigned by the shift supervisors.
‎9. Safety responsibilities:
o Perform the job safely in line with GEHS policy, Airport Safety and
regulations and Chevron Aviation Fuelling Manual.
o Report all type of near-miss, accident, incidents and concerns.
o Participate in safety committee meetings.
‎10. Customer Care:
o Discuss with mechanic/engineer on flight about flight details.
o Help and support the customer whenever its needed.
o Safe the flight delay.
o Guide the customers to the safe practices if needed.
o Report customers concerns to the shift supervisor.
o Handle the panel of the aircraft for assigned airlines.
Minimum Requirements
‎1. Higher Secondary in any discipline with ‎2 years of Aviation experience.
OR
‎4 years experience in Aviation operations.
‎2. Proficiency in English and good verbal and written communication skills.
‎3. Advanced mathematic skill.
‎4. Excellent Interpersonal relationship, motivational and team building
skills with good planning and decision making abilities.
‎5. Good IT skills.
‎6. UAE valid manual driving license.
