About the Role
To support the Enrolments Team to achieve enrolment targets for GEMS schools
through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails. The GEMS
Admissions Consultant will ensure high service standards and brand awareness
are met in all aspects of the customer's journey in admissions.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide accurate and comprehensive information about the schools, including the curriculum, education level, and tuition fees.
* Drive enrolments by promoting GEMS schools to prospective parents by conducting outbound calls.
* Manage the CRM system for all lead conversions, and track the outcome and impact of calls.
* Ensure contact time with prospective parents is within 24 hours of receipt.
* Cross-sell by liaising with the school Registrars and ensure that prospective parents are actively guided to secure a place at an alternative GEMS school.
* Work with schools to monitor, respond and engage positively on all social media communities and audiences to generate leads for GEMS schools.
* Work well in a team environment and initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
* Ensure the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
* Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
* Perform other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line Managers/Supervisors.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Associate degree or higher with a concentration in sales, promotions & customer service preferred
* Minimum of 3 years working in a call center or outbound sales office.
* Exceptional communication skills especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits to potential customers/parents.
* Strong interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships, and network.
* Confident and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale.
* Digitally savvy and adept at using social media.
* Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills, together with diplomacy, tact, and well-developed organisational skills.
* Open and collaborative working style; must be comfortable in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
* Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
* Knowledge of the education sector is desirable.
* Bilingual is an advantage.
