About the role
We are looking for a candidate that has experience of handling luxury leather
goods & have worked within quality control environment.
An eye for detail is key, as well as an extensive technical understanding of
leather good materials, finishing, and construction. The role involves
thorough inspection, reviewing hundreds of products monthly to ensure they
meet the quality standards, are 100% authentic and are luxury brand compliant,
as well as managing third-party service providers. Experience working with
luxury fashion brands is a plus.
Responsibilities:
* Reviewing all leather goods inbound items according to set guidelines to determine acceptable and unacceptable conditions, adhering to strict standards of quality.
* Inspecting conditions, manage cleaning service providers, identifying genuine and modified materials/product.
* Assisting Leather Goods Authenticators with authenticity & quality check.
* Collaborating with the internal team in handling client requests about condition grading specifications.
* Maintaining a seamless flow of communication with multiple departments including photography, web content and customer service.
Requirements
* 1 or 2-years work experience in quality control is essential, ideally luxury background luxury/leather goods/leather SPA.
* Educated in leather technology is advantageous.
* Well organized with great time management skills with the ability to multi-task and attention for detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Pro-active service delivery attitude - willingness to stretch and do whatever is required with a hands-on approach.
* MS Office expertise: Word and Excel.
