Mission
Analyze and reconstitute fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer
products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household.
Functions
* Analyze fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household.
* Work on fragrance formula reconstitution with the help of perfumers.
* Determine the fragrance dosage of FF samples by Karl-Fischer.
* Extract fragrances from personal care & household products by SFE or liquid/liquid extraction.
* Run maintenance of the GC/MS/FID equipment.
* Interact with internal departments such as Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D & Evaluation.
Requirements:
* Bring around 4 years of working experience in the Fragrance Industry with exposure to perfumery raw materials and/or fragrances, and with previous experience in GC/MS analysis.
* Good ability to smell with ideally an olfactive knowledge of perfumery raw materials.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Flexible yet methodical with attention to detail.
* Good Laboratory Practices.
* Good team-player.
* Quick-learner.
* Result-oriented.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
Languages:
* Good English Level.
Educational Background:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry studies, ideally with a specialization in chemical analysis.
