Analyst, Financial Control at Checkout.com

We are actively looking for a hardworking and dedicated Financial Control,
Analyst to join our growing team in Dubai.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a
rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with
communication skills and can work to deadlines. You will have strong Excel
skills and are comfortable working with large and complex data sets.

About you:

• Bachelor Degree in Economics, Accounting or equivalent with a strong academic record


• Part Qualified (ACA or ACCA) and working towards completion. Experience in FinTech or Financial Services preferred.


• Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work through problems logically


• Excellent knowledge of Excel


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with all levels


• Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment


• Proficient in English

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure ledgers are updated, completed and accurate.


• Ensure that reporting deadlines are adhered to.


• Prepare business unit PLs and prepare KPI analysis for MENAP based Checkout.com entities


• Month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliation, preparation of revenue reconciliation and inter-company balance/transaction reconciliation.


• Preparation and review of VAT returns.


• Constantly supporting improvement in commercial performance of the business.


• Assisting in the global statutory audit process.


• Support the forecasting and planning processes.


• Ad-hoc project and analysis work.
