MISSIONS:
* Administer and managing the contracts lifecycle from pre-bid stage to project execution and warranty phases,
* Responsible for the timely preparations of legal and contractual documents such as Request for Proposal (RFP) and other legal or contractual or tender package as required, to procure construction and /or sub contract from the local market.
* Carry out the pre-award activities including pre-award schedules, provide advertisement for tenders and participates in the pre-award meetings, evaluates, and negotiates a bid.
* Advises on contractual matters at the project level about the strategy for and the conduct and recoding of contract pre-award negotiations.
* Prepare initial contract review, organize contract induction meetings, issue reports, interpretations and assessments on contracts.
* Prepare Notice of Awards, Notice of Proceeds and Post Award Meetings.
* Administration of the construction contract and timely issuance of notifications, monitoring of milestones and payment in cooperation with the project team.
* Monitoring, drafting and reviewing all contractual correspondence between Systra and construction contractor.
* Verifying that all insurances and guarantees required by the Contractors are in place and maintained.
* Carry out contractual change management process like but not limited to drafting and review of change orders, claims, back charges and penalties, defense of incoming claims vis-a-vis Contractor.
* Preparation, drafting and management of notices, Contract Risk Registers, Claims and Compensation events logs.
* Co-ordination and liaisoning with the technical, finance, legal, project team and construction contractor to mitigate and/or resolve possible disputes.
PROFILE:
* 5 years of experience minimum in construction contract management in UAE
* Overall experience: 7 years minimum
* Experience in managing construction contract for infrastructure project on client side (either in the public authority or in a consultant) including:
* Production of administrative tender documents
* Review of offers
