About The Role

We're on a lookout for experienced Retail Operations professional to join
Atlantis The Palm retail team. If you have extensive background managing
multiple retail outlets within a high-volume environment, we want to hear from
you!

Manager, Retail Operations is responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day
management of a wide range of retail outlets, ranging from signature Atlantis
stores to standalone kiosks and merchandise stands across the hotel and
Aquaventure Waterpark. Achieving daily revenue targets and ensuring excellent
guest experience in all outlets is the main expectations of the role. You will
manage daily stock requisition needs, monitor slow- and fast-moving items,
work towards meeting stock loss prevention targets and achievement of monthly
inventory standards. Handling promotional activities, communicating with the
suppliers and being actively involved in staff recruitment and training are
crucial parts of the role as well.

Manager, Retail Operations works closely with the Director, Retail and is
strongly involved in building and implementing buying strategies, pricing
analysis and continuously improving resorts' visual merchandising standards.
Retail team consists of ‎35+ colleagues therefore we're looking for candidates
who can effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and
trust. This role does not manage the third party boutiques located in Atlantis
The Palm Avenues.

About You

Ideally we'd like you to have ‎5 years experience in high volume retail
operations, managing multiple outlets and large teams. You should deliver
consistent work in line with the company wider goals, demonstrate sound
judgement and decision making skills and manage upwards through effective
stakeholder communication. Strategic approach to retail department's growth
and ability to contribute with new initiatives are expected. Additionally,
person in this role should be naturally comfortable with rewarding high
performers as well as addressing performance management issues through
handling difficult conversations.
