As a Training & Maintenance Supervisor in the field of Aviation Aircraft
Refueling, Aviation Fuel Handling, and Maintenance of Into-Plane Refueling
Vehicles, you will be responsible for overseeing the training programs and
maintenance operations related to refueling aircraft and handling aviation
fuel. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with safety regulations,
coordinating training activities, managing maintenance schedules, and
supervising a team of refueling technicians. Your expertise will be crucial in
maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and safety of always refueling
operations.
What 's the role?
Responsibilities:
Training Program Management:
* Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for refueling technicians and front-line barrier management positions ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
* Design training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate effective learning and consistent performance.
* Conduct training sessions to educate new hires and existing staff on refueling techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Maintenance Oversight:
* Coordinate maintenance schedules for into-plane refueling vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate actions.
* Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and address maintenance issues promptly, minimizing downtime and optimizing vehicle performance.
* Ensure the maintenance budget is optimized.
Safety and Compliance:
* Ensure adherence to safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines throughout all refueling operations.
* Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to aviation fuel handling and aircraft refueling operations.
* Conduct safety self-assurance/ audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Supervision:
* Provide leadership and guidance to a team of refueling technicians and front-line barrier management positions promoting a positive work culture and high-performance standards.
* Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, maintenance schedules, and inspection reports.
* Generate reports on training outcomes, maintenance activities, and safety performance for management review.
* Collaborate with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and supporting compliance efforts.
What we need from You
* Bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and experience will also be considered.
* Proven experience in aviation refueling operations, fuel handling, and maintenance of into-plane refueling vehicles.
* In-depth knowledge of aviation industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation, reporting, and training purposes.
