Key Responsibilities

• Be passionate about maintaining a service standard that embraces time as the 'new' luxury and therefore deliver 'FIVE-style' service in a timely manner to the highest level of expectation - all while having fun with the FIVE Vibe!


• Support the smooth running of the department, where all aspects of the guest's Food & Beverage service experience are considered 'FIVE-star' all the way!


• Supervise all service personnel


• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner


• Work with other F&B managers and keep them informed of all F&B issues as they arise


• Organize all documentation for shift work on a daily basis including pre-shift reports, daily training topics, shift floor plan, requisitions for beverage, food and sundries and manage personnel on a daily basis through the time management system


• Ensure all staff are meeting all established standards of service through ongoing and recurrent training systems according with the manager requisition and deadlines


• Monitor and test service skills of staff, retrain and reinforce all standards on food and quality and service details daily. Provide feedback and appraisals, as necessary


• Ensure compliance with venue SOPs


• Ensure effective communications between each shift


• Supervise the service area in order to attract, retain, and motivate every employee


• Ensure optimal level of hospitality are provided to guests


• Regularly review house counts, forecast and VIP list while maintaining the confidentiality of the Group and its guests


• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the amenity set-up and delivery


• Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations


• Ensure all staff are meeting all established FIVE standards of service


• Assist in the development of marketing initiatives, menu items, and other items to stimulate growth in sales for each outlet and keep abreast of the variety of up-to-the-minute market developments


• Be aware of and assist in controlling current budgeted and forecasted revenues, payroll, and all relevant product costs


• Must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner


• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests


• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines


• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and courteous manner


• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the FIVE Standards, as required by dynamic scheduling


• Prepare and submit required reports in a judicious manner

Requirements
What We 're Looking For**

• A hands-on approach with a 'can-do!' work attitude


• A commitment to delivering exceptional guest services with a passion


• Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned


• Teamwork-oriented


• An outgoing personality - and fun-to-work-with energy!


• Previous Cafe Supervisor experience of ‎2-‎3 years is a plus


• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential


• Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus


• Strong working knowledge of industry regulations
