As a Senior Manager, you will be expected to deliver successful Business
Transformation, Procurement and Supply Chain engagements. In addition, you'll
be preparing proposals, finalising reports and overseeing completion of
projects. The position will be managing an established team.
What you 'll be doing:
* The successful candidate will typically be working on up to ‎8 projects at a time, and be responsible for owning individual workstreams or tasks, and report into a workstream or project lead
* You will work across a mix of industries and our core pillars, with an expectation of specialisation over time
* Responsibilities include planning, delivering and guiding the team for all engagements, as well as direct client interaction and engagement, while participating in a broad range of business consulting projects
* Developing and maintaining productive working relationships within the team/business
* Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and deliver outcomes
* Work closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues, using a 'no surprises' mindset
* Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully achieve the right client outcomes
* Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
Who we're looking for:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or other quantitative degrees, a Master's degree is a plus
* ‎8+ years of related work experience in a consulting practice
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to analyse information or a situation, and present compelling recommendations
* Relevant Professional Certifications will be considered as a plus
* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
* Business acumen with emphasis on analytical thinking and initiatives taking
* Organizing skills with emphasis on time management
