Job Purpose: The Position: The Administration Assistant - Medical Benefits
will work within the Medical Benefits Customer Support team and will be
responsible for the provision of accurate customer support related to medical
benefits, cover and network information. The role holder will manage telephone
and be responsible for giving advice based on an individual's medical scheme.
Job Outline - Respond and communicate effectively to internal customers
providing a high level of service and support - Ensure accuracy of all
communication whether verbal or in writing whilst maintaining agreed levels of
service and correct reference to policy - Administrate customer support
against published SLA and in line with appropriate guidelines and published
protocols - Escalate complex cases or trends to team leads for specialised
support - Use system tools to check a member's cover, eligibility and terms
and conditions ensuring accurate support
Qualifications & Experience: Experience and Qualifications: - Educated to
Bachelors level in a relevant medical field (nursing, pharmacy) with a minimum
of ‎3 years work experience in a medical insurance field preferable gained in a
pre-approval role. - Clinical medical experience is an advantage - Computer
literate, Proficiency in the MS Office Suite of Software. (Excel/Word/Power
Point) - Proficiency in written and spoken English.
